In this case, surgery was planned to remove a part of the mandible bone, since a malignant tumor was involved. When planning this virtual surgery, a PSI was planned which instructed the surgeon where to cut the affected bone, and how to complete it by the patient’s autograph fibula bone. Another PSI was also planned to show the surgeon how to locate the segments of the fibula bone, and a custom titanium plate was also printed that connects all the segments together.
