An osteosarcoma of a young patient in which the doctors looked for a long-term solution. The plan was to remove the entire femur bone and replace it with a customized implant. After the surgery, a prothesis was connected to the implant and by choosing this way, the prothesis can grow as the child grows. The implant joint part was highly polished so there could be a movement of the hip joint.
