Dupuytren’s disease, also known as Viking disease, is a condition in which one or more fingers bend toward the palm
of the hand. The affected fingers can’t straighten completely.
Knots of tissue form under the skin. They eventually create a thick cord that can pull the fingers into a bent position. The condition gradually gets worse with time .In order to overcome this condition, the doctor injects a fluid that destroys the hard tissue, in order to prevent surgery, due to the high cost of the fluid is very expensive, we perform segmentation and mark the specific area to which the injection should be injected and then plan locations of between 11-20 needles. We also plan a guiding Jig so that the surgeon knows he injects all the problem places.
